Why Should You Visit Denver?

Daniel, Colorado is an amazing outdoor, walkable city with 300 days of bright blue skies, sunlight, and spectacular mounting series. Then it was founded in 1858. It was founded as a gold-mining settlement at the base of the Rocky Mountains. It is located at the height of 5180 feet above sea level. During the summer, fall, winter, or spring seasons, Denver provides amazing adventures to people of all ages.

The best part is that you can explore the city without a car. There is a direct rail service available from Denver International Airport all the way to the union station of Denver. This makes getting into the city center very simple. Here are some reasons to travel to Denver:

Amphitheater and Red Rocks Park

This is a one-of-a-kind outdoor music venue encircled by massive ancient rock formations. Red Rock has an amazing hiking trail with a visitor center that features the performer’s Hall of Fame during the daytime. Legendary bands like U2 and the Beatles have performed here.

Union station

The Crawford Hotel is located in the Denver union station. This location serves as amazing dining, transportation, entertainment, and shopping center. You can have a breakfast burrito at Snooze, have a beer at the terminal bar, experience the local cuisine at one of the amazing eateries, shop a little or have a cocktail at the Cooper Lounge. The Denver International Airport is only 30 minutes away by direct rail.

Beer trail

You can go on a self-guided tour of the mile-high city’s beer trail and sample the amazing brew. You can explore the listed breweries. Most of these are within walking distance from the city center. Alternatively, you can take a guided brewery tour with Denver tours.

Rock Mount ranch wear

This is a historic shop that is located in downtown Denver. It has a true Western icon, Jack A Wiel, who invented the first-ever cowboy shirt with snaps and of using the traditional buttons. He was also responsible for popularizing Western wear as a part of American fashion. A lot of music and movie stars wear Rockmount styles which include the trademark sawtooth pockets and Diamond snaps.

Museum of Art

The Denver Art Museum is known for its collection of amazing indigenous art. You can explore the amazing contemporary artworks both in and out of the Frederick C Hamilton building that has been designed by the world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind. The museum is located in the Golden Triangle creative district. The admission is free on the first Saturday of the month. It is also free for kids under 18 all the time.

Colorado history Center

The Colorado center of history houses amazing exhibitions and events that can read the history of Colorado to the visitors. You can enjoy amazing interactive exhibits like taking a virtual tour of the Ford Model T, putting your talents to the test on the ski jump simulator, or going one step further and setting off the dynamite in the 1880s mine.
